  • Begin by creating a center parting.
  • Add a curl cream to damp hair and scrunch hair from bottom to enhance natural curl.
  • Diffuse curls on low heat to dry.
  • Once dry very lightly pick to breakup curls.
  • Tuck the hair on both sides behind the ears.
  • Using a comb carefully smooth hairline keeping the natural curl texture in tact and secure with bobby pins on both sides to finish.

Amanda Mondale + Wispy Waves

  • Create a center parting on dry hair from hair and take it down to the nape of the neck.
  • Secure each section with a sectioning clip.
  • Taking large diagonal sections beginning at the nape of the neck and lightly bend with a flat iron to create a very subtle wave.
  • Repeat on each section working your way up.
  • Brush through waves when finished.
  • Lightly spray roots with a texture spray and work with your fingers to achieve the desired texture.
  • Tuck both sides behind ears leaving out some wispy hairs around the hairline.
  • Lightly spray the rest of hair with a texturizing spray and work with fingers to finish style.

Kaitlyn Quitiquit + Sleek Braided Updo

  • Start by creating a center part from the hairline all the way down to the nape of the neck.
  • Create sleek pig tails at the nape of the neck and secure with hair tie.
  • Smooth the hair with a smoothing brush and lightly spray with hairspray.
  • Wrap each hair tie with hair from each ponytail and secure with a hair pin.
  • Using a comb take a small section where sideburns would be.
  • Lightly coat section with gel, comb down and create a circular shape with the ends.
  • Braid each ponytail and secure with a hair tie.
  • Wrap each braid upwards around the head and secure with hair pins.
  • Using your fingers and some hairspray add some texture the ends of each braid.

    Bregje Heinen + Voluminous & Sleek

  • Start on clean dry hair.
  • Create a center parting and then a parting on each side from the center part to just behind the ear.
  • Working from back towards hairline take 1” horizontal sections.
  • Apply styling foam to roots and comb through.
  • Using a small round brush dry each section up and back creating volume.
  • Make sure to marry the center parting when drying each horizontal section.
  • Repeat step 3-6 until you reach the last front section.
  • Repeat the same steps on the last section but this time don’t completely blow out the styling foam.  This will give you the lines in the hair when brushing back.

    Angela Sarafyan + Wispy Textured Bun

  • Start on dry hair.
  • Gather all hair into a tight ponytail at the center back of the head.
  • Lightly spray hair with a texture spray.
  • Work roots with fingers dragging fingers lightly towards hairline to create some texture.
  • Twist the ponytail into a tight bun and secure with hairpins.

    Natalie Alverado + Sexy V-Day Waves!

  • Begin on dry hair.
  • Create a 2″ horizontal parting starting at the nape of the neck.
  • Clip the rest of the hair up and out of the way.
  • Within the horizontal parting take 2″ vertical sections and curl hair downwards away from face with a 1.5″ curling wand.
  • Create another horizontal section & repeat step #4 but this time curl hair downwards towards the face.
  • Repeat these steps switching curl direction each time until the entire head is curled.
  • Brush through to soften curls, flip head over & spray with a texture spray.
  • Flip head back over and work with fingers to create the desired shape.

    Carmen Solomons + Tight Curls

  • Start on clean dry hair.
  • Take 1” horizontal sections starting at the nape of the neck.
  • Lightly spray each section with a heat protective spray before curling.
  • Using a .5” curling wand take 1” sections and curl creating a spiral effect.
  • Curl each section in the opposite direction as the previous curl.
  • Repeat steps 2-5 until entire head of hair is curled.
  • Break apart curls with fingers.
  • Create a deep side part and work with fingers until you have achieved desired shape & texture.

    Annie Tice + Loose Retro Updo

  • Start on dry hair.
  • Create a part from just behind one ear to the other going over the top of the head.
  • Gather the hair loosely above the crown and twist section holding the ends forward toward the hairline.
  • Fold & tuck the ends into the twisted section and twist a little more then secure loosely with hair pins.
  • Gather remaining hair into a loose ponytail in the middle of the back of head and twist upwards to meet the section twisted on top and secure with hair pins.
  • Lightly spray allover with a texturizing spray and work the style with fingers to achieve desired texture.

    Abby Williamson + Textured Updo

  • Begin on dry hair and spray allover with a texture spray.
  • Create a 1″ parting around the hairline and section of with sectioning clips.
  • Gather the remaining hair into a ponytail at the center back of head leaving small wispy pieces at nape of neck..
  • Lightly spray with a texture spray and rub fingers from crown towards the hairline to create a bit of texture.
  • Release the sections at the hairline.
  • Using hair pins start securing the hair around hairline loosely into the ponytail base.
  • Lightly spray again with a texturizing spray and work with fingers to finalize the desired texture.

    Najiyah Imani + Structured Afro

  • Make sure to fully dry afro with a diffuser and dryer.
  • Using a hair pick start pulling afro upwards leaving the sides as tight as possible
  • Once you have achieved the desired height use your pick to pat the top flat.
  • Use the flat side of your pick to pat the back & sides.
  • Repeat steps 4-5 using a little hairspray to finalize the structured shape.

    Bree Kish + Sexy Curls

  • Start on dry natural textured hair.
  • Pick out any limp or straight curls and touch up with a curling wand or curling iron.
  • Use fingers to break up curls.
  • Use a hair pick for fluffier curls.

    Katty Ukhanova + Ethereal Curls

  • Begin on dry naturally textured hair.
  • Create a parting from behind one ear to the other going over the crown.
  • Gather the back section into a tight twisted bun in the center back of the head and secure with hair pins.
  • Using a ¼” curling iron spiral curl the rest of the hair in small sections curling each section in a different direction as the previous curl.
  • Lightly break apart with fingers to finish.

    Ma Zizhan + Wet Hairstyling

  • Start by wetting hair with a spray bottle.
  • Create a parting from behind one ear over the head to the other side and clip front section out of the way.
  • Add a little styling foam to from roots to mid-shaft and comb section down molding hair to head and secure with setting clips at the nape of the neck.
  • Add styling foam to front section, comb hair up and back loosely to meet the previous section and secure with setting clips at nape of neck.
  • Using a comb separate the hair below the nape of the neck and place it in desired shape on back, chest & neck.
  • Remove setting clips once style holds form to finish!

    Madison Tabeek + Ethereal Hair

  • Begin on clean dry hair and lightly spray hair all over with a heat protective spray.
  • Starting at the nape of the neck curl all hair with a 1″ curling wand curling each section in the opposite direction as the last.
  • Curl the hair around the hairline away from face.
  • Flip head over and generously spray with a texture spray.
  • Lightly spray fingertips with hairspray and work style to achieve desired shape to finish.
